“You may have the upper hand Yusei but not any more! Field Spell activate: Black Rose Garden!” I yelled. “Your monster is finished! Black Rose Dragon attack!” Dark red twisted vines shot from the fierce dragon. The vines smashed ferociously through the monster and went for Yusei.

“AAAHHHHH!!!” He yelled. They knocked him into the air. I herd the vines snap as they whipped his body. I saw blood run down his arms. Then he dropped to the earth like bloody rock.

“Yusei! That was an accident! Sorry!” He didn’t move. I started to worry. He usually gets up and reassures me that he’s ok. “Yusei?” I herd a moan. He lifted his arm into the air. It was almost completely coated in blood. Then it fell back to the cement floor. “Yusei!” I ran up to him. “Yusei I’m so sorry.” I picked him up in my arms. I helped him to his feet. I put his arm around my shoulder and I did the same with him.

“Agh. Thanks Aki. You really beat me.” He smiled. I was surprised he wasn't mad. It was nice to have such a loyal friend. “Your really tough. I like girls who don’t hold back when dueling. I like girls like you.” He looked at me. I felt my cheeks get warm. I turned my head away as fast as I could.

“That’s real sweet Yusei.” I said trying not to sound too interested. We started walk to a nearby bench. The park we were in was full of them. It was hard with Black Rose Garden in play because of all the annoying vines getting in our way.

“You want to know something strange Aki?” Yusei asked me. My cheeks felt hot again I didn’t know why.

“What?”

“In the City people give people roses to show their affection.” I looked away again I wanted him to stop. I could feel my cheeks turning red. He continued, “But your nickname is Black Rose and you don’t love anybody.” I knew deep down inside that was a lie. It was killing me. I felt my legs get weak and my stomach get filled with butterflies. “Do you love anybody?” I could feel him looking at me.

“Uh. No. Nobody comes to mind.” I said uneasily.

“Are you blushing?” I was shocked.

“AAAHHHHHH!!!!” I let go of Yusei and covered my cheeks.

“I'm not blushing! Not all! No!” He fell on to the bench we were walking to.

“Ok then you wont mind sitting with me.” I felt a jolt of lighting go through my brain and down my spine.

Without looking at Yusei I said quickly, “No. I got to go. I've got to be somewhere.”

“So you were blushing.” He said calmly. I sat next to him.

“Yes…” He touched my check and turned my head to face his.

“I think that’s so cute.”

“Ngh.” I felt tingly all over. It was a strange sensation. But it felt good. Suddenly I noticed the vines from my Black Garden. They had started growing large red roses on them. I think it was because of how I was feeling.

Yusei plucked one and gave it to me. “A pretty rose for an even prettier one.”

“That’s sweet.” I said. He set his hand on his leg. I set my hand on his.

“I bet your lips are as sweet as you are.” I leaned towards him. He leaned towards me. We started kissing… Yusei’s birthmark started glowing. Light blue stars shimmered all around us. His injures started to heal.

“It’s a miracle.” I said.

“No. Its love.” We started kissing again. Everything felt good.
